Top Four List for MagentoLive UK 2016

Magento is at it again, bringing the entire Magento ecosystem to you — this time at the beautiful Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London from June 20-21. Connecting eCommerce experts from all walks of life, MagentoLive UK is a opportunity to get the latest Magento news, participate in conversations about eCommerce trends and growth, and network with knowledgeable community members to help take your business to the next level.

Working for Echidna — a Magento Partner known for helping brands design, build, and grow their names online — I’m super excited our team will be attending. Back in April at Magento’s Imagine Conference in Las Vegas, Echidna was honored when one of our clients was nominated for Most Innovative Use of Technology. In May, I had the opportunity to sit in on a talk that Magento CEO, Mark Lavelle, gave at Shoptalk 2016: he gave some great insight on the future of commerce. We can’t wait to see what excitement this event will bring! From breakout sessions, to trending tracks, to great networking opportunities, setting a schedule for the conference can seem like a daunting task. Hopefully my top four list will help as you decide what to do and see at MagentoLive UK 2016!

1. Commerce Conversations
Plaza 5, Level 1 between 12:30 and 13:45 on Day 1
Talking to your peers has never been better (or more productive!). Learn from each other with Commerce Conversations. This session is designed to promote networking and collaboration among MagentoLive UK attendees by facilitating the exploration of various commerce-related topics through small group discussions. Participants will share their knowledge and ideas, as well as hear how others are handling common challenges and innovating in the world of commerce.

2. 1:1 Strategy Session
Don’t miss your opportunity to connect with one of Echidna’s Magento experts to discuss anything and everything related to designing, building and growing your brand online. If you have questions on monthly Magento maintenance, what a migration from your current version to 2.0 entails, how to improve site conversion through a strong user experience — or, if you just want a complimentary Magento 2.0 Site Assessment or Digital Marketing Assessment — then this meeting would a great use of your time while at MagentoLive UK. You will also be entered to win an Apple iPad, simply for meeting!

3. Migrate from Magento 1.x to Magento 2.x Like a Pro
Plaza 3, Level 1 between 9:45 and 10:20 on Day 2.
This one is especially near-and-dear to the Echidna team, as we have been working with clients on understanding what the benefits of migrating include and even offering complimentary Magento 2.0 Site Assessments for those on any 1.X version. Following the proper methodology and tackling this migration in a comprehensive, well-thought-out manner can enable a faster and smoother migration to Magento 2. The Magento Expert Consulting Group has developed a migration methodology and set of best practices based on a range of client experiences, and at this session you’ll learn how you can use these approaches to successfully migrate a site.
